23 week check up

So today marks 23 weeks. I had a pretty good appointment today. Blood pressure was 106/60 and my weight gain (ugh) is good. Yeah, I am so concerned about the weight gain that I went directly to Cookout for a BBQ sandwich, fries, & a chocolate shake...... this is where the "ugh" comes from. I think Dr. Powell and I spent more time talking about our upcoming trip to Disney World. She has been several times and was giving me some pointers. It's been about 20 years sent I went last, and Mark has never been. We are all pretty excited about it......we leave in exactly one month! :)


We had a good weekend, too. Saturday was Grandmama McCoy's 86th Birthday so we all gathered for lunch and an afternoon in Goldsboro.





Other than that, and babies all over..... there really hasn't been anything monumental going on. The nursery renovation is almost done. I got the final coat of polyurethane and all the handles on the dresser last night. Tonight, I plan to tackle the nightstand. I should have everything together soon for pictures.



Ugh. I don't think "Twinkle" is enjoying the hot sauce they loaded on my BBQ.....she seems pretty pissed. :( Maybe I will get the nerve up to post a belly shot soon..... but don't count on it! I am not that confident! :)

We are half way there!

Today marks 20 weeks. We are half way there, give or take! :) So excited! Taryn will be gone this weekend, so I will attempt to switch out her nursery furniture for the guest room dresser and chest of drawers. I will continue to use her headboard/crib back for the guest room bed until we paint. I still need to get the new dresser sanded and refinished, but with all the rain/snow the past few weekends, I haven't gotten to it. Luckily this weekend will be gorgeous! I will try to be outside as much as possible, and will try to stay as busy as possible so I won't miss T so much!
